If you’re considering booking our villa, one of your first questions is probably:

🏰 How far is it to Disney and Universal?

  • Walt Disney World:
    Simply head out of High Grove onto US-27 South, then take the turn-off onto US-192 East. Disney is around 9 miles away and typically takes 15–20 minutes by car. 🎢🎆

  • Universal Studios:
    Again, leave via US-27 South, head onto US-192 East, and then join Interstate 4 (I-4) North. Universal is about 20 miles away and the journey can take between 40–60 minutes, depending on traffic. 🎬🧙‍♂️

💦 Water Parks Galore!

Florida is packed with incredible water parks. These are some of our favourites:

Top Tip:
🧾 Sign up online or at mall info desks for discount vouchers. Some offer VIP passes for 10% off multiple stores – well worth the $10!

  • 🎡 Celebration Sunday Market (20 mins away)
    Built by Disney, this gorgeous Colonial-style town offers a small market (20–30 stalls), lakeside walks, and our favourite breakfast burrito at Market Street Café. It’s a peaceful way to start your Sunday.

  • 🌆 Lake Eola Market, Downtown Orlando
    Around 40 mins away. Smaller but set by a scenic lake with reflections of Orlando’s skyline. 🦢🪞

  • 🧳 Webster Flea Market
    About an hour’s drive through beautiful countryside, Webster Westside is Florida’s largest flea market, spread over 35 acres! Think antiques, Americana, and quirky finds.

One of our top-rated days out was to:

Includes:

  • Thrilling airboat ride on Cypress Lake

  • Mini zoo with sloths, gators, wild cats, and birds

  • You can even feed the alligators!
    We left at 8:30am and were back by 4pm – easy and unforgettable! 🛶🐊
